We pride ourselves on our adaptability and commitment to excellence in every aspect of our service. We request all guests to adhere to our rules and policies for a smooth stay experience.

Things to know

  • Please note that this is just a farmstay, not a resort. We are providing the facilities as much as possible for a comfortable stay to match with good farmstay standards.
  • Guests are required to show a photo ID upon check-in. Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.
  • 50% advance is required to secure the booking and full tariff amount for all booked days should be paid on or before check in. 
  • Please inform Areca Valley Farmstay of your expected arrival time in  advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.
  • Quiet hours are between 21:00 and 07:00. Please do not make any loud noises or songs after 9:00 PM to avoid any disturbance to our beloved neighbors.
  • We have a strict “NO SMOKING” policy inside our home. You may smoke outside of the house. And to keep the house clean, please leave your footwears outside on the porch.
  • No drones should be operated without any prior permission.
  • Please help us to save the power and the environment by switching off the lights both inside and outside when not required.

Optional Services

  • Please note that currently we don’t have any restaurant on-site. All food requirements should be pre-ordered well in advance to make the arrangements from a nearby hotel. You may buy the food on-the way to our farmstay whenever possible.
  • We have a fully equipped kitchen where you can prepare your own meals. Just bring required groceries.
  • Food delivery charges will be Rs.150 per order. Please plan to order at once to save time & cost.
  • Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability & weather conditions and below additional charges may apply.

Disclaimer

  • We are not responsible for any property loss, theft, body injury or unexpected life related issues during your stay in our premises.
  • Since our farmstay is located in a remote village forest area, there may be a power cut like trees falling on EB lines or transformer breakdown due to natural calamities during heavy rain and wind. The EB power restoration time is beyond our control. But, we have battery backup with a minimal set of lights that gives you enough lighting to continue your stay in that situation.
